Dutch researchers have created flexiramics flexible ceramics for circuit boards

Flexiramics looks and bends like paper tissue, but it’s fireproof and non-conducting.

Flexible ceramics are potentially a massive improvement to our existing technology. While some flexible ceramics exist this seems to be the the lightest and most other effectively being a form of composite.

What’s really cool is that this material is yet to have a confirmed combustion point as the machines they have access to only go up to 1,200 which is not enough to break the ceramics down.
